Job Description We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Knitwear & Jersey Product Development Intern to join our Product Development Team based in Milan. How you will contribute?
  • Coding of the models, compilation of the bill of materials and transferring of information to suppliers.
  • Processing of data concerning the development of the prototypes and bill of materials.
  • Supporting the Team in inputting all the relevant data into the PLM system (data entry, amendments, updates etc.).
  • Supporting in coordinating the requests from the Design team (insertion in the system, updating on the collection board, etc.).
  • Being involved in meetings with external suppliers for the correction of defects of garments and collection of all the data necessary for the progress of the collection (fabrics / accessories to be sent, bill of materials update etc.) and management of the supplier package.
  • Helping in coordinating the prototype orders from PD office to external suppliers and vice versa.
  • Supporting during production fittings.
  • Stock follow up and daily update of the material bible (in the warehouse or related to the manufacturer stock).
  • Support in Material research and Development for yarns.
Who you are:
  • BA/MA degree in Fashion Design (Major in Knitwear & Jersey Product Development will be a plus).
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Excellent use and knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign).
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep to strict deadlines.
