This role is operating as a "Self-Employed Contractor " and you will be covering work as a Food Safety Auditor in Italy. You will be responsible for delivering non accredited food safety audits, assessments and inspections for the Retail & Hospitality Team. This is for specific audits covering Hospitality, Retail and Manufacturing as required by our client in Italy.

You will deliver high quality assessments/audits and inspections that meet the needs of customers’ specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner.

• Providing your monthly availability for the proposed work.

• Plan and manage the work given within the timescales agreed with the client.
• To complete environmental audits, which will include food safety but can also include health & safety and fire safety audits, in accordance with legal and client driven requirements in line with specific country codes.
• To complete audit reports immediately after audit and to submit on the day of the audit.
• Ensure any errors on the reports are corrected and updated when requested within 12 hours of the request.
• To keep your Line Manager or Lead Auditor appraised of client requests during audits.
• Allow Shadow and Witness Audits from the client, the line manager or senior team as required.
• To maintain Continous Personal Development (CPD) and take on additional training as required when new clients are onboarded.
• Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business and provide your own laptop or tablet for this work.
