Customer Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a junior and talented Customer Marketing Assistant to support our team in Rome. The resource will support the team in developing, influencing, analysing, activating and monitoring the performance of various areas of Sales Team. Core responsibilities will comprehend working for and in conjunction with the Sales Team/Category Development and Operations to develop our capability in the markets and to effectively improve the in-market performance.

Activities & Responsibilities

The candidate will be in charge of:

- Sharing the customer's sell-out performance analysis with the line manager to define actions and build the best promotional plan for customers.

- Supporting the Line manager in providing recommendations for the sales team in terms of assortment, promotion, consumer promotion, estimated volumes, including customer competition analysis.

- Developing optimal plans by channel in conjunction with Sales, including e-commerce strategy.

- Defining ad hoc Assortment strategy for every Customer.

- Sharing insights with other departments to ensure aligned and shared objectives

- Supporting the Azienda strategy, launch and relaunch, through ad hoc customers presentations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial area (Sales and/or Trade Marketing) of FMCG companies (preferably Food) is appreciated.
• Master’s degree in economics/business
• Presentation skills and influencing power
• Ability to challenge the status quo
• Pro-active and goal oriented thinking
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Analytical skills
• Good knowledge of Office tools
• Teamworking propension

Salary

• 30-35k Gross Annual Salary Range
