OVERVIEW:

Leading global operator specialised in the complete management of solar and wind assets for the generation of electricity is looking for an Accountant to join our Italian division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will play a supporting role in a wide variety of analytical, documentary, procedural, internal, and external reporting activities related to the Azienda and its relevant stakeholders.

Activities for this Posizione will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and enter interAzienda transactions.
• Support month-end reporting activities.
• Prepare monthly VAT liquidation and support the tax advisor for monthly tax obligations.
• Support in the preparation of various types of tax returns.
• Assist with year-end statutory audit and financial reporting.
• Assist with budget control and budget forecasts.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Enter supplier invoices and GL transactions in SAP.
• Manage and post monthly and year-end accruals.
• Prepare and process payments using banking platforms.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar discipline.
• +3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong critical thinking and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Knowledge of SAP FI (Accounting and Controlling module).
• Proficient in IT and computer systems.
• Upper intermediate English (B2).
