About the role:

As HR Business Partner you will be the main referral for line management and support and engage them in realizing the critical success factors as defined by the regional and local business units.

Reporting to the Head of HR Italy you will take care of all HR matters within our Italian MCG sites Italy (MCAM Rho MCAM Modena and Resindion – around 130 employees). You ensure constructive collaboration with the work council and government agencies for local social legislation, collective labor agreements, internal HR procedures and policies.

You will work closely with the local management to implement at local level the HR strategy and the initiatives defined by the EMEA Region, promoting an open and transparent environment in compliance with the MCG culture and values and the KAITEKI philosophy.

You should be located in one of our sites: Rho (MI), Binasco (MI) or Modena(MO)

Your Responsibilities:

• Act as the HR ambassador and primary contact for site leadership at three locations, developing and deploying the Italian HR strategy in alignment with Mitsubishi Chemical Group.
• Report to management with HR metrics for decision support, manage the HR forecast and budget process, and support performance management to ensure a future talent pipeline.
• Identify and implement training plans for organizational learning and development, and bridge management-employee relations by addressing demands and grievances.
• Advise on Compensation & Benefits, ensure a smooth performance and remuneration review process, and guarantee legal compliance in human resource management.
• Lead and manage diverse HR projects, communicate HR policies, coach through organizational change, and support the Safety & KAITEKI culture as per company guidelines.

Your Qualifications and Skills:

• Extensive experience in a senior HR role within a fast-paced, international, and complex matrix organization.
• Prior experience in a production environment is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English.
• Well-organized, people-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a coaching background is a plus.
• Combination of conceptual thinking and a hands-on approach, with experience or confidence in leading a small team.
• Strong background in change management projects, excellent listening, interpersonal, and empathetic skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts in complex organizational settings.
