PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

PPG Quattordio plant is one of the main production site of PPG in Europe.

As a Production Technician, you will be involved into the redefinition of the raw materials production flow, from warehouses to production departments.

This new implementation will be based on the study of the actual logistic flow and definition of our benchmark.

In order to achieve this goal you will work directly under the responsibility of the Operation Manager and working together with the Production Engineer, that is working on driving and check the production of PPG Quattordio plant.


Key Responsibilities

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Complete the PPG Quattordio benchmark on internal raw materials flow
    • Redefinition of the new standard
    • Starting of the implementation of the new standard and check the results
  • GOAL: Finalize implementation of a new dynamic logistic flow in order to optimize the raw materials and people movements inside the Quattordio plant
  • AREAS OF WORK: Production/Warehouses/Shipping
  • TEAM: Reports directly to the Operations Manager, working together with the Production Engineer
