It develops and implements innovative technologies supporting the energy transition and offers Sustainable Technology Solutions and Integrated E&C Solutions for fertilizers, hydrogen, CO₂ capture, fuels, chemicals, and polymers – is seeking a Civil & Structural Underground Specialist to join Tecnimont S.p.A., within the Civil & Structural function.

The Civil & Structural Underground Specialist will work in project team and he/she will be in charge of specific activities paramount to the proper execution of the project.

In particular main activities and duties will be:

• to guarantee the quality of the deliverables generated and their compliance with the contractual requirements of the project contracts satisfying the assigned budget and time schedule;
• to endorse contractual requirements, to follow up client comments and requests, technical clarifications or project concession requests;
• to secure the design all underground systems roads, yards and earth works, related to the assigned projects and in agreement with other disciplines;
• to prepare General specifications for Underground System analyzing all the systems in the plant, the hydraulic design criteria and the installation and testing criteria of the relevant components;
• to design the sewer network flow rate by means of hydraulic calculation;
• to manage the UG systems on the basis of the data received from other discipline (Layout & Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Utilities/ Power Process, Design HSE, Mechanical, Design & Utilities/Power Process, HVAC etc.), checking the consistency.

Personal Attributes:

• Master’s degree in civil engineering is preferred with Hydraulic specialization;
• minimum 5 years of experience in Underground topics, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, power;
• expert in BIM software’s for modelling and development purpose;
• expert in AutoCad 2D drawings for modifying documents and in Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection;
• experience in coordinating international engineering centers (engineering centers or site);
• experiences in site activities coordination;
• fluent English speaker and writer, knowing Italian is a plus;
• availability to travel for short and long period.
