We are seeking an experienced Senior Equipment Engineer to join our team in Taiwan. This role will provide technical leadership for automated test equipment (ATE) operations at our OSAT partners, driving excellence in test cell qualification and problem resolution.Key Job Responsibilities

Lead and execute new test cell qualification and bring-up activities at OSAT partnersServe as the primary technical escalation point for complex issues at OSAT facilitiesDrive resolution of sophisticated setup challenges involving thermal, electrical, and mechanical systemsConduct comprehensive technical audits at OSAT partners to ensure compliance with quality standardsDevelop and deliver technical training programs for new team members and OSAT partnersReview and approve test cell configurations for production releasePartner with cross-functional teams to optimize test cell performance and reliabilityLead continuous improvement initiatives for test cell efficiency and yield

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years of hands‐on experience with ATE testers and ATC handlersDemonstrated expertise in complex problem solving across thermal, electrical, and mechanical domainsStrong project management and stakeholder communication skillsLeadership Competencies:Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authorityStrong track record of delivering results in complex technical environmentsExcellence in cross‐functional collaboration and stakeholder managementProven ability to develop and mentor team members

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge in electrical engineering at practical engineer level is a significant advantageExperience with semiconductor test and handling equipmentTrack record of leading technical teams or mentoring junior engineersStrong analytical and data‐driven decision-making skillsExcellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency highly desiredExperience working with OSAT partners in AsiaOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
