Position

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations on assigned floors or areas, ensuring that all guest rooms and villas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of luxury. This role involves managing the housekeeping team, inspecting rooms, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The Floor Supervisor plays a key role in upholding the reputation of Hotel Pitrizza by maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and service.

Job responsibilities

Guest rooms and Villas cleaning and set-up

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms and villas are cleaned and presented according to the hotels luxury standards.
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms and villas to ensure they meet the required cleanliness, orderliness, and functionality.

Inventory and equipment management

• Monitor the use of cleaning supplies and equipment on assigned floors, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper maintenance.
• Report any issues with equipment or inventory shortages to the Housekeeping Manager.

Guest amenities and gifts

• Ensure that all guest rooms and villas are stocked with the appropriate amenities and gifts as per the hotels standard or special guest requests.
• Coordinate with Guest Relations to personalize amenities based on guest profiles.

Guest Satisfaction

• Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly and effectively.
• Ensure that all special requests and preferences are met, enhancing the guest experience.

Housekeeping operations

• Ensure that the housekeeping operations are carried out smoothly and efficiently, minimizing any disruption to guests.
• Support the Executive Housekeeping in scheduling shifts and managing staffing levels according to the occupancy and operational needs.
• and existing staff on housekeeping procedures, hotel standards, and safety protocols.

Staff management

• Supervise the performance of room attendants and other housekeeping staff, providing feedback and addressing any issues as they arise.
• Foster a positive working environment, promoting teamwork and high morale among the housekeeping staff.

Quality Control

• Perform regular quality checks in all guest rooms and villas to ensure adherence to the hotels standards.
• Implement corrective actions where necessary to maintain or improve quality.
• Follow LQA rules and other high level service quality standards

Profile

• Previous experience in the same or similar role for at least 2 years
• Experinece in luxury hotel or 5 stars hotels with high standards
• Knowledge of LQA and quality standars
• Deep knowledge of all Housekeeping process and activities
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership and team management abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in Italian and English
